Joey between the writers poking fun at CMM, and Chuck calling Julian, "Julia" lol----this episode was made just for you, hehe.  And people think that the writers don't pay attention to what the fans think an say, lol!!!!

Seriously though, I rotflmao at Dan's reference to Lucas, saying that "maybe we should get him to do a guest spot, it's not like he's doing anything" lol.  Truer words have never been spoken, and it was a fun little rib at CMM indeed, hehe.  Not meant to be taken too seriously of course, but funny nevertheless whether you're a die hard Lucas/Chad fan or not, you gotta appreciate the writer's sense of humor with that one, lol!!!

And then we have Chuck, with the whole "Julia" line as well----hilarious, hehe!!!  Joey, I so thought of you tonight, hehe, and between those and all the great Dan time, as more of his backstory with Rachel was revealed, I'm sure you enjoyed tonight!!!!  Of course it was just a filler episode indeed, and not great by any means, it couldn't be after last weeks amazing performance, but these funny lines, helped keep me laughing for sure, hehe!!!!

P.S.---They kept the Magic 8 Ball reference and scene in there indeed, so yay for that as well, hehe!!!  Plus you gotta love Haley and Brooke high, especially Haley as Joy is just so awesome at those comedic moments, lol!!!

OMG! I nearly spit my beer out when I heard that line!! I imagined Chad watching and squiming in his seat at home all alone(or with his child bride to be) questioning his decision to hold out. Hehehe.

 Oh yes! Julia. I nearly peed my pants when I heard that line! Suddenly, I love that little punk Chuck. Give the kid a raise.  As for Dan's back story, I really enjoyed seeing how Dan got his new heart....I didn't like how Marky portrayed the hospital and doctor. Obviously, Dan went to Mexico for his operation....I've been to Mexico many times, the country is beautiful and the people are the same. I can tell you that the conditions of their hospitals are as good if not better than most in the U.S. And the way they had the doctor be unshaven and dirty....I half expected the doctor to be smoking and drinking tequila during the operation! Totally overplaying the stereotype, almost to the point of being racist in fact.   But it was nice to see Dan's inner torment over receiving the young guy's heart and the possibility of black market trafficking of human organs. As if that sort of thing doesn't happen here in the states. Ugh.

I too couldn't believe what I was hearing! It was as if the writers were reading our posts here on our little messageboard and decided to use them.

It was a funny episode that moved the story forward in my opinion.

I know, I was thinking the same exact thing too, lol!!!  Talk about a way to drive home a point? lol...  I was very proud of the writers, even though I know it was all in good fun, considering the unnecessary mess and tension that ensued because of Chad during the second half of last season, I was like----right on hehe!!!  And the show and everyone is fine, in fact, better than ever, and nobody has missed a beat, so it couldn't have been a more fitting opportunity to throw that line in there, lol!!!

Yeah, I didn't know about this line, and when it came out of Chuck's mouth, I busted out laughing so hard, hehe, and immediately thought of you. It was too good to be true, lol!!!  Normally Chuck bugs the crap out of me, but in this episode we had just the right amount of him, and between his Julia line and him saying "who the hell is Julian"? lol----I say give the kid a raise as well, lol!!!

Oh gosh, the doctor thing and black market trafficking---lol, don't even get me started----I know, lol!!!  Just chalk it up to another over the top soapy moment that Mark and company is such a big fan of with Dan, but since PJ rocks any an all Dan scenes, it was easy for me to overlook and simply just enjoy seeing Dan, lol.  But yeah, you would have thought that they could have at least tried to play off a really poor third world country, instead of the likes of Mexico, lol!!!! 

But hey---on a positive note, at least we point blank now know that Dan is without a doubt fine, he got his transplant, so finally we don't have to endure anymore scenes of will he or won't he die?  The man ain't going anywhere, and I'm so glad that at least that story can now be laid to rest, and Dan can get back to Tree Hill, hehe!!!!

Joey, this would have been the perfect episode to watch together, no doubt about that hehe, and my Magic 8 Ball could have been right along with us, lol!!!   And yes, Joy is amazing in these types of scenes----OMG when she crawled all the way over the kitchen counter, lol---too d@mn funny.  Talk about elevating the material, as that probably wasn't even in the script, it's just Joy doing her thing, and she's awesome, but we all know that, hehe!!!  The only thing better would have been if we could have had Nathan walking in on that moment? lol  I so wanted him to see his wife high----it would have been golden indeed, hehe!!!  

And yep, it was funny seeing Haley and Brooke together in a comedic moment like that again.  That was the first time in 8 episodes that I didn't hate Brooke, lol---well for the most part.  She still had to open her mouth to Zelda and to Haley about Julian, but mostly with her scenes with Haley, we got funny Brooke, so that was much much better!!!!

Overall, it was as you said, a filler episode that still delivered developement and fun which made it an episode that was fun (much lighter than the last) and fun to watch. Big thumbs up!

 Yeah, I mean just take it for what it was----just filler!!!  We get about 2 or 3 of these per season, so it's not like they are the norm or anything.  It was just meant to be a transition between one big story to the next, so with all of that in mind, it made it very easy to just sit back and enjoy the episode for what it was.  Nobody would profess it to be great by any means, but silly, stupid, humorous and yet still quite enjoyable----I'd give it that, lol!!!!   Next week we get right back into the mix of things with the main point and focus again, so this was just a quick breather, if you will, hehe!!!
