You mean, are they going to explain an exact cause of death?  It was clear that she passed out and wasn't able to be revived, likely due to cardiac arrest. It happened to my aunt in March. Uncommon and tragic but it does happen.

I can't see them specifically going into the n*ts and bolts of what happened but it's already know that we'll see Clay dealing with the repercussions of it.

(Yes, n*ts is a forbidden word.)

I have watched this episode twice (as I tivo'd it) and am still confused.

In the beginning....when we don't yet know that she is just in his memories, she mentions about them being divorced.

Yet, near the end when they showed her collapse, they were very much still together....not divorced.

So, what really happened?  Maybe they never got married at all....she just proposed to him?

But then why would she say she divorced him because he was never home?

See.........it's giving me a headache just trying to figure it all out!

If they had showed the scenes of their relationship simply as flashbacks....that would have been one  thing....but since Sara was sitting on the couch with Clay while they were both watching Dan's show (Scott Free Redemption), at the same time Nathan and Haley and Quinn were watching....then that part was in "real time," not flashbacks.

Ohhhhhhh, I am so confused!

Noley..........HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!shocked

I don't recall Sara ever saying they were divorced or anything about him never being home.  It appeared to me they met, they dated, they married, she died.  What you saw in real-time was her ghost, Clay hallucinating her.

Perhaps I'm the one confused?  I don't think so, though...

I have the episode on my DVR, and yes....near the beginning when Sara is sitting at the kitchen counter, and she is asking him about the other women in his life....and she asks him where his wedding ring is...if he still has it.   And something is said about how SHE divorced HIM because he was never home...always working.

Some have said that DIVORCE is like DEATH in a way.....so maybe that is alluding to her death...but the writers didn't want to give it away.

I will watch the episode again and write down the exact things they said and when and where....and come back and post it.

What didn't seem believable about it?  My friend died similarly last year (at a younger age) and my aunt died similarly this year (albeit at an older age).

Okay, I just rewatched the parts you mentioned.

mnhfkj said...

near the beginning when Sara is sitting at the kitchen counter, and she is asking him about the other women in his life..

In this scene where she is sitting at the counter, recounting the women in his life--nothing is said about divorce.

mnhfkj said...

.and she asks him where his wedding ring is...if he still has it.

Then, later on, in this scene where she is on the couch asking about his wedding ring--again, nothing about divorce.

mnhfkj said...

And something is said about how SHE divorced HIM because he was never home...always working.

Never heard this.

Again, maybe I'm missing something.  Waiting for you to come back with what you wrote down.
