I don't understand why he is even apart of the show??? he sucks....there is no storyline with him or anything....he is only in the show b/c he a a producer...uhh! one tree hill has gone down hill after lucus and peyton left!!!!

no i think the show has gotten better without lucas and peyton...however i just dont see how Dan is even a character...he has no storyline

Well I'm glad that you can at least see that the show still has plenty to tell, even without Lucas and Peyton.  In fact, it even has more to tell because of their departure!!!

As for Dan, you need to be patient and just wait and see what's coming with him, but he definitely has a story and as long as Nathan is around, then there will always be plenty that they can do with Dan because of the nature of that relationship and what it means for Haley and Jamie as well.  Trust me----there is plenty of stuff with Dan this season, as the parallel between Dan/Nathan is very much at the root of this show, and I for one am extremely happy that they are getting back to it this season!!! The stuff with Dan does have a point, and I'm surprised that you haven't picked up on it yet!!!

I'm not going to spoil what's to come with Dan because it would spoil too many other things as well, so I'll just continue to say to be patient and know that Dan very much has a storyline and a point. 

I'll give you a teaser about this season, in case you haven't guessed it lol, but Dan is very much tied to NHJ's story.  Like I've said, the Dan/Nathan parallel is the main root of this show and a very important one at that!!!  Everything that there is to tell with Nathan and his family and career, gets back to Dan and Nathan's parallel and relationship!!!

I love that Dan is still on the show!   But I think Rachel is going to find out that it's not as easy to manipulate Dan into getting what she wants, as she thinks it is!
