Anyone thing they can put all the pieces together yet? lol  I've enjoyed reading all the speculation, that's for sure.  I'm not going to give it away, except to just say that 2 very important clues were given out in last night's episode, lol!!!  But I thought that you all could use this thread to discuss your thoughts on this storyline and how you think it's all going to play out? hehe

Okay I am going to finally lay out what I think. I think this whole thing was engineered by Rachel. I don't think it was to bring Nathan and Dan back together but instead to cash in on the ultimate tale of redemption.  My thought for this came when I remembered a few episodes back when Rachel took the picture of Dan helping that homeless guy and put in on the internet.  Why could she not be putting Nate in a position to bring father and son back together for a big payoff. I then started thinking back to when Rachel was staying with Brooke and Victoria b*tched her out. Rachel was on the brink and I think  without Brooke and Mouth to keep her on the straight and narrow  she went over to the dark side (a Star Wars analogy is always fitting). So that is it I finally said it, now I could be way off base but that's what I think.

Wow, I feel so much better getting that off my chest-lol.

Regarding Renee, I do think Dan is trying to lure her in to destroy her plot against her son-not knowing of course who is really behind it.  The reason I knew it was not Dan from the get go was because he would never do that to Jaime. I mean yeah I do not think he would do it to Nate, but even if he were tempted he could not do it to his beloved Jaime, his best friend.

Spot on Arpagian, as you said....Dan would never do anything to tarnish the way Jamie views his Grandpa Dan....NEVER. I also think it is whom you are indicating as well...as I stated earlier, out of some misguided attempt to help bring Dan and his family back together or worse yet to set up a big score for themselves.
