Loved these two scenes last night!!!  The Haley/Quinn scene at the piano might have been Quinn's best scene yet, as it gave her the opportunity to really be there for Haley in a comforting manner, and totally loved their little pinky finger thing at the end, a very cute sister moment!!!  Plus anytime we get to have a scene were somebody gushes over how great Naley is---is a total win in my book, hehe!!!  Good job Herro and Strauss!!!!

Then I totally loved the Nathan/David scene!!!  James and Scott were great there, and I really love them as brother in laws!!!  Nathan didn't want to tell David that Quinn didn't come home last night, and it was so great to see that relationship, as you could tell that they are close and respect each other.  It was also such a great moment for Nathan to be able to reminisce about the time him and Haley were apart, while telling David that even though it killed him to let her go, he did but never gave up hope!!! Such a great moment for Nathan there, and for the fans that have been along for the whole journey with Naley that remember that time in their lives.

Anyone else really like David? hehe  I do, and hope that he sticks around for more scenes as I loved him with Haley last week, and loved him with Jamie and Nathan this week!!!  I like his dynamic in the Scott family, and he's too good for Quinn.  He doesn't deserve somebody who would make him think that she slept with another guy, when she didn't!!!

I liked James last night best in his scene with Nathan.  I think its sad when a marriage breaks up and since this was a realistic type of break up I thought it was well played.  The scene with he and Jaime was moving. I do not know where his character can go but I liked him.

Yeah for a new character, David is very believable as this all around great guy that cares about his family.  And I feel more sympathetic for him than I do for Quinn, and I thought that his and Nathan's scene at Tric was heartbreaking, especially when David asked Nathan if Haley ever slept with another guy?  So sad!!!!

David's around some more for the first half of this season, but I'm hoping that for the second half they can find a way to still keep him, even if his marriage to Quinn dissolves permanently.  I just really like him with NHJ, and very much believe in that closeness that he appears to share with them!!!  And protective Nathan over David/Quinn's marriage is great!!!  Boy---how far has Nathan Scott come over the years? hehe  He's the greatest guy on the show!!! smile

I really enjoy David, as well.  I spoke to Allison about this yesterday. Scott Holroyd, who plays David, is her husband, and he has filmed 4 episodes--3 of which have aired. His future with the show hasn't been determined.  I think he's done a great job with the role considering he hasn't been given many scenes.  I wonder how other people would feel if he stayed.  I think many are expecting him not to.

I already said it in the 705 thread but I loved the season 2 reference (as I love any references to past episodes/seasons/years).

I liked the Quinn-Haley scene for a different reason.  While I'm still not thrilled with Quinn and I don't think Shantel did such a hot job, I was glad to see Quinn playing the big sister role and comforting Haley.  Up until that point, it's been the other away around, making it hard to believe Haley was the younger sister.  I'm an only child so it's hard for me to relate but I would guess that the dynamic between siblings shifts and that sometimes the older one acts like the younger one or vice versa, so I suppose what we've so far could be realistic.  Still, I was happy to see the roles reversed from what we've seen and I look forward to seeing this dynamic explored some more--preferably with stories unrelated to Quinn's marital drama.
