Need to change my posting karma as I got completely turned around with the Mouth conversation.  I think there is a real possibility the skank ain't really pregnant-any thoughts? It occurs to me not only does that ultra sound picture not prove paternity but it does not prove pregnancy. I am getting a feeling this is a huge setup.
What got me thinking this was the slap. That was so obviously orchestrated to provoke Haley and get a picture by the press. It made me think if skank girl is that conniving  why is she not making the whole thing up-including even being pregnant.

That slap was so Haley because she is the most passionate character on the show-loved it.

Hey Arpagian, I had to comment here because I was just discussing this very same thing with my girls last night. We went to see Kate Voegele, btw, and she is just awesome.  Anyway, we were talking about the show on the way home and I mentioned that I thought the sl ut wasn't really pregnant and that it was a set up, and we were trying to think of someone who could be behind it, putting her up to it.  We came up with an idea or two, but IDT I'll say anything just yet.

And yes, the whole thing with Haley was so obviously a set up.  I realize how passionate Haley is, but I did think it was a little out of character for her just because of how she is always telling Nathan to think before he reacts.  But I guess we just don't know how we'll react until the situation calls for it. 

So, good thought as we were both thinking it, and I'm sure some others are as well.  I'm looking forward to seeing how it all plays out.

I have a thought on who might be behind the set up and I have a sneaking suspicion it is the same person as you think  but we should see what happens. I try not to be a conspiracy theorist in real life but this storyline has my conspiracy antenna up big time-lol. We shall see.

Yeah, we'll wait and see, lol!  Maybe we're on the wrong track, who knows, but I think it's going to be an interesting storyline.

 

When I first started watching OTH I always looked at the way Haley had influenced Nathan but as time goes on I think some of Nathan has had an influence on Hales.  She has become more of a bad a** , as Nathan called her. That is why I think the slap is not as out of character in season 7 as it might have been in season 1.  I am no bad a*s but I am much more outspoken since being married to my husband.

Hmmmm, yeah I wonder? I hope you guys are not thinking that Dan might have something to do with it.....come on, hasn't Dan been through enough sheet already? Not saying that is who you had in mind....

Yes, I agree with you on that.  I do remember the bi+ch slap to Rachel in S4, but then again that was high school.  And last season when Haley went after Chuck's Mom, Nathan really razzed her about it, lol!  I know that Haley is very protective of her own, but she's also the rational one.  That's why I said that I thought it was a "little" out of character for her.

I think none of really know how we'll react to a certain situation until the time comes.  Regardless, I was happy to see Haley take care of the lying slu+, but now come the consequences.  Good storyline, IMO.

I don't believe she's pregnant, either. BH90210 did a similar storyline, but it was the other way around: a main character blackmailing a guest-star, and claiming to be pregnant but actually wasn't.  (They also do it a lot on daytime soaps.)

That said, she very may well be preggers but someone else is really the father.  I think we all agree it's definitely not Nathan's, right?

Joey, I neither confirm on deny the statement above. I have found in life it is better to keep some stuff to yourself so you don't look like a dum a** if you are wrong-lol.

I remember that well, it was Val trying to blackmail her married lover-but it was foiled by Brandon.
